Botivo Wintery Botanical Aperitivo
A spiced non-alcoholic aperitivo with date molasses, clove, allspice, vanilla and smoky saffron.
Botivo's winter edition adds date molasses and warming spices to a bittersweet apple cider vinegar base. It is made at Lannock Farm with honey, gentian root, allspice, clove, vanilla and saffron.
Tasting notes
Dates and vanilla soften the herbal bitterness, while clove and allspice bring warmth. A smoky saffron note finishes the blend.
Why it stands out
This aperitivo can be served hot or cold. Mix 25 ml with 150 ml hot water, or use soda over ice, and garnish with orange peel.
