Botivo Botanical Aperitivo
A bittersweet non-alcoholic aperitivo made with apple cider vinegar, honey, orange zest and herbs.
Botivo is blended by hand at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire. Aged British apple cider vinegar forms the base, with wildflower honey, orange zest, rosemary, thyme, gentian and wormwood.
Tasting notes
Tangy vinegar and orange lead into herbal flavours. Gentian and wormwood bring bitterness, balanced by honey and fructose.
Why it stands out
The vinegar base gives this aperitivo its distinctive tang. Mix 25 ml with 175 ml soda water over ice and squeeze in a generous wedge of orange. Tonic also works as a mixer.
