Ara makes wine in Marlborough, New Zealand. Its Ara Zero wines begin as full-strength Sauvignon Blanc and rosé before spinning cone technology separates aromas and alcohol at low temperatures.
The aromas are returned to the wine with a little grape juice. Sauvignon Blanc retains tropical fruit and grapefruit flavours, while the rosé combines strawberry, guava and crisp citrus. Both are vegan.
